Mutsumi Inomata, the talented artist who created exciting characters in Bandai Namco Entertainment’s “Tales of” game series, has passed away.
On March 10,20234, she announced the news on her official Twitter account. A private funeral was performed to honor her memory, with her family present.

In a heartfelt statement from her younger sister, the sudden loss of Inomata was expressed, along with the mention of the sketches she was still working on.
Her sister imagined her continuing her artistic journey in heaven, surrounded by her beloved cats, crafting charming characters.
The family extended their gratitude to all who supported and cherished Inomata throughout her career.

A Remarkable Career
Inomata rose to prominence as an animator and character designer in the 1980s, before beginning on a successful career as an illustrator.
Some of her most prominent works are character designs for “Makyo Densetsu Acrobunch” (1982), “Plawres Sanshiro” (1983), “Leda: The Fantastic Adventure of Yohko” (1985), and “Windaria” (1986).
Even in recent years, she contributed to the “Mobile Suit Gundam Seed” series.
