TWICE made a comeback earlier last month with the release of their lead single, “Moonlight Sunrise.” The girls are now preparing to release their 12th mini-album, “READY TO BE.” TWICE altered the banner on their social media profile and published an album/merchandise preview for their upcoming album on February 3 at midnight KST.
The teaser indicates that TWICE will release their 12th mini-album, “READY TO BE,” on March 10 at 2 PM KST.

Twice
Twice is a South Korean female group created by JYP Entertainment. They go by the names Twice (Korean: RR: Teuwaiseu; Japanese: Hepburn: Touwaisu; often stylized as TWICE). Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu are the other nine members of the group. Twice made its television debut on October 20, 2015, with the extended play (EP) The Story Begins. Twice was founded as part of the Sixteen (2015) television series.
The song “Cheer Up” by Twice, which peaked at number one on the Gaon Digital Chart, became the best-performing single of the year, and won “Song of the Year” at the Melon Music Awards and Mnet Asian Music Awards, catapulted the group to domestic prominence in 2016. From their third EP, Twicecoaster: Lane 1, “TT,” their next song, topped the Gaon charts for four weeks in a row.
The EP sold more copies than any other Korean girl group record in 2016. Twice’s four EPs and unique album have sold more than 1.2 million copies in the 19 months since their debut. The group has amassed combined album sales of over 10 million in South Korea and Japan as of December 2020, making them the best-selling K-Pop female group of all time.
On June 28, 2017, the trio made its Japanese debut through Warner Music Japan with the publication of the compilation album #Twice. The album had the most first-week sales by a K-pop artist in Japan in the previous two years, debuting at number two on the Oricon Albums Chart.
The first original Japanese maxi single by Twice, “One More Time,” was made available in October. Twice made history by becoming the first Korean girl group to receive RIAJ’s platinum certification for both an album and CD single in the same year. They were the first Korean female group to tour Japan in 2019 and were twice voted third in the Top Artist category of Billboard Japan’s 2017 Year-End Rankings.
