February 6, Los Angeles [US] (ANI): The Grammys’ ‘Best Musica Urbana Album’ honor went to Bad Bunny this year. Un Verano Sin Ti, his winning CD, was the reason. Bad Bunny is making history once more at the Grammys, following the record-breaking success of his fourth album, “Un Verano Sin Ti”!
Along with Daddy Yankee (LEGENDADDY), Rauw Alejandro (Trap Cake, Vol. 2), Maluma, and Farruko, he was nominated for Best Musica Urbana Album (La 167). He is also a nominee for Best Pop Solo Performance and Album of the Year.
Bad Bunny is up against Adele’s “Easy on Me,” Doja Cat’s “Woman,” Lizzo’s “About Damn Time,” Steve Lacy’s “Bad Habit,” and Harry Styles’ “As It Was” in the category for “Best Pop Solo Performance.”
He is up against Adele (30), Beyonce (Renaissance), Harry Styles (Harry’s House), Mary J. Blige (Good Morning Gorgeous), Brandi Carlile (In These Silent Days), Coldplay (Music of the Spheres), Lizzo (Special), and Kendrick Lamar in the category “Album of the Year” (Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers).
With nominations for record and album of the year, the Puerto Rican musician led all nominees for the 23rd Latin GRAMMY Awards. For the first time in 64 years, his album “El Ultimo Tour del Mundo” debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart in Spanish.
