Kakao will serialize a webcomic that features the recently released virtual 4-member girl group MAVE. On February 14, Kakao Entertainment declared that on March 20, the webcomic “MAVE: Another World” would be concurrently released on Kakao Page and Kakao Webtoon.
The plot will follow the main characters as they make an emergency landing in Korea and take part in an idol trainee audition. Their names will be SIU, ZENA, Tyra, and MARTY (after the members of MAVE:).

Kakao Entertainment has lately released a variety of K-pop-based webtoons and web novels. They published an online book the previous year that dissected UNITE of BrandNew Music’s viewpoint. A webcomic featuring characters from the virtual female group survival game “GIRL’S RE: VERSE” has recently been released by them.
An official from Kakao Entertainment said, “I hope that MAVE:’s webtoon will become another hit IP (intellectual property) in the Kpop webtoon and web novel genre led by Kakao Entertainment.“
