Since KAACHI was the first “British” K-pop female group, they attracted a lot of attention when they first made their debut. Their first music video, “Your Turn,” had 10 million views on YouTube in the first 60 days after it was posted and received a total of 14 million views over the course of two years.
The group attracted a lot of attention since they were not a typical K-pop group made up of Koreans and because they did not make their debut with a Korean entertainment organization. Chunseo, Dani, Nichole, and Coco were the four European and one Korean members of KAACHI.
KAACHI didn’t fall short of being a typical girl group in that they marketed K-pop songs and even released items in their name, despite making their debut with a start-up company and having members who were largely from Europe. Up until 2022, the girls continued to put out different songs and were active on social media.
Regrettably, after the remaining two members decided to leave the group, KAACHI announced that they will be breaking up permanently on February 28. After attracting attention, member Dani made the decision to leave the group in 2021, and then Coco did the same in 2022. Members Nicole and Chunseo then made the decision to leave on February 28.

KAACHI’s agency stated, “After careful discussions behind the scene, we are making an announcement that the official contract between the company, Nicole, and Chunseo has been terminated.”
The company added, “We will be happily rooting for each other whatever we do, wherever we are. The documentary Nicole and Chunseo participated in as the main cast will be officially released in the upcoming May. Please look forward to it:) We wish all the best for Nicole and Chunseo’s future endeavors. Thank you everyone for all the love and support.”
Many fans were disappointed but showed support for the members as they commented, “I will support my girls no matter what,” “Thank you, Kaachi,” “Finally omfg will support the girls always! Go kaachi! New beginning”, and “Let’s hope that the girls have a prosperous future and we can be part of it, provided support from us, blessings.”
