V of BTS has returned with a new track. The Korean pop star announced on Sunday (March 3) that his new single “FRI(END)S” will be available for download on March 15 at 1 PM KST through his social media accounts. A lot of people are very looking forward to this new album by V.

Bighit MUSIC shocked fans on March 4 at midnight KST by announcing that BTS member V’s digital single will be released later this month. March 15 at 1 PM KST, 9:30 AM IST will mark the online premiere of the single titled FRI(END)S. The English announcement from the agency classified “FRI(END)S” as a “love song in the pop soul R&B genre.”

V will provide fans with a plethora of content, such as concept photographs and teaser videos, leading up to the new single’s release, allowing them to get a glimpse of what the song is about. Along with the announcement, the artwork for the single was revealed. It depicts the title and release date against a brilliant pink backdrop, hinting at the song’s lovely and romantic mood.
Instagram users belonging to BTS were treated to a brief preview of K-pop artist V’s new single “FRI(END)S” on Saturday. The highly anticipated album is the follow-up to V’s 2023 solo debut Layover, which contained the singles “Love Me Again,” “Rainy Days,” and “Slow Dancing,” among others.
V, who has previously achieved great success as a solo artist, is prepared to captivate crowds once again with his charismatic stage presence and heartfelt singing. He claims that FRI(END)S will be the vehicle through which he reveals his individual taste in music and his signature sound.

What’s the Significance of ‘NOT IN USE’ in V’s Instagram Reel?
V, aka Kim Taehyung of BTS, was a pleasant surprise for fans on March 3 when BIGHIT Music posted a reel of him on their official Instagram account. The music video for Winter Bear featured the vocalist in an interview setting, with the words “NOT IN USE” flashing on and off for a few seconds.
Members of BTS’s followers, known as ARMYs, have made the connection between the artist’s 2017 London residency and a few of the images seen in the reel. Fans were wondering if the video was a sneak peek for his new single, which is now officially called FRI(END)S.
