Jungkook of BTS is rumored to be making his solo debut. BTS’s RM teased ARMYs on June 17 that the group’s maknae Jungkook is “preparing something fun” for the 2023 Festa Event. BTS’ RM hosted the one-day event, It’s Kim Nam-Joon, at 5:00 PM, which was held at Hangang Park in Yeouido, Seoul because it was the band’s 10th début anniversary.
Leader RM was the only member present at the occasion, as Jin and J-hope were serving in the military, SUGA was on a solo tour in Singapore, Jungkook was in Los Angeles, and Jimin and V were also out of town.
At one point, RM made a phone call to the Euphoria singer and teased ARMYs that the BTS member was working on something intriguing, implying that he would be the next member to make his solo debut.
Despite the fact that RM did not clarify his statement, ARMYs have interpreted it as an unofficial confirmation that “JJK1 is coming.” For those unfamiliar, JJK1 refers to Jeon Jungkook’s first studio album:
