Jungkook, a member of BTS, deleted his Instagram post. On the afternoon of February 28 KST, Jungkook said on Weverse, the official fan communication platform for BTS, “I left Instagram, I wasn’t hacked. I never used it so I just deleted it. Don’t worry!!“
He followed up by saying, “Hehehehehe I never used it, what could I do!? I just want to use Weverse live every once in a while.” He then concluded by saying, “I deleted the app right away and I don’t think I’ll use it in the future! Letting you all know in advance!!“
After a year and two months, Jungkook departed Instagram with this. On December 6, 2021, each BTS member opened a personal Instagram account. At the time, Big Hit Music had said, “We understand that he opened Instagram to express his individuality as an artist and to communicate in various ways.”
Before quitting the app, Jungkook amassed an incredible 50 million followers on Instagram after starting his own account.
