On January 20, 2023, Netflix hosted its debut. According to Jung E, mankind must now live in artificial structures constructed in space because the Earth is no longer habitable in the 22nd century owing to climate change. Around 80 of such shelters eventually became homes for people.

However, shelters No. 8, 12, and 13 proclaimed themselves the Adrian Republic and started assaulting other covers and Earth, sparking a civil war between the Allied Force and the Adrian Republic.
