The Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC’s Pokédex has been discovered online. The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk, the planned two-part DLC for Generation IX, will feature 223 returning pocket monsters, according to prominent Pokémon leaker Centro Leaks.
The addition, which was revealed during Pokémon Day 2023, which commemorated the anniversary of the Japanese release of Red and Green, takes players to Area Zero in the Paldean region, where they encounter intriguing Paradox beings.
If confirmed, all starter Pokémon—aside from the Unova trio of Snivy, Oshawott, and Tepig—will be included in the DLC. Sneasler, Chandelure, and Alcremie are some of the further prominent Pokémon.
The press statement for the game said that 230 Pokémon would appear in the DLC, as noted by Centro Leaks. Hence, the list is missing seven pocket monsters.
The leaker previously revealed information about the Paradox versions of the legendary Pokémon Suicune and Virizion, which were showcased during the Pokémon Day presentation. Suicune and Virizion both change from their original types to dual types of water and dragon, respectively.
Before the DLC’s official introduction, theories abounded about where it might be. Both Ultra Beast’s reappearance and a trip to the Southern Kalos region had been predicted by fans.
Fans speculated that a huge turtle would be the third legendary, alongside Koraidon, whose identity is still unknown. The third legendary will make its debut in either The Teal Mask or The Indigo Disk DLC, so answers will be available soon enough.
Pokemon Violet DLC Release Date
Fans can anticipate seeing the game between August and November, even though it is not much to go on. Based on the Sword and Shield DLC, this is most likely scheduled for release in the middle of August or September.
The second DLC, The Indigo Disk, will then be released in 2023 winter. Most likely, this will occur between November and December. The most likely time would be the week before Black Friday, around the time Scarlet and Violet were first released. So keep an eye out for November 17, 2023.

What Brand-new Pokémon Will Be Available in the Teal Mask and Indigo Disk?
The Hidden Treasure DLC will not only transport gamers to new places but also include new Legendaries and old favorites. The Teal Mask’s Legendary Pokémon will be Ogerpon, with new Pokémon including Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti all making appearances with classic Pokémon like Chingling, Shiftry, Milotic, Ninetales, and Vikavolt.
The Legendary Terapagos will be included on the Indigo Disc, along with previously released Pokémon Dewgong, Metagross, Alcremie, Espurr, Zebstrika, and Whimsiscott.
The Pokémon Company disclosed in other parts of the presentation that Pokémon Home will soon connect Go and Scarlet/Violet. According to reports, this will add more than 230 Pokémon to the games that may be caught or fought with but weren’t previously included in them.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have already had a good number of free updates to fix their astronomical number of bugs and performance problems.
Fans were split about how much a post-launch patch truly solved, but a later update in February attempted to fix the problem by reducing the number of Pokémon that spawned in the open-world setting.
The least popular uncommon creature varieties in the game, Shiny Pokémon, were also less likely to spawn as a result of the update. Between the fall 2021 release of the remakes of Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and the Pokémon Legends: Arceus spin-off, both of which came out a year or less before the current Gen 9 games, Game Freak has been on a Pokémon game-releasing tear recently.
Unknown is whether the developer will continue along that path, releasing another game later in 2023, or whether it will allow Scarlet and Violet’s paid expansions to fill that void.
Many fans had hoped that Game Freak would wait longer between installments to enhance the overall quality and conduct additional experiments with the core formula.
A fresh Tera Raid Battle will begin later today in the interim. While Violet players must deal with the paradox Iron Leaves, Scarlet players must deal with the paradox Pokémon Walking Wake.
