About three years and five months after their debut, on January 20, 2019, D1CE Entertainment officially confirmed the disbandment of the boy group D1CE. The agency confirmed on this day,
“As of January 20, the exclusive contracts of D1CE members Woo Jin Young, Park Woo Dam, Kim Hyun Soo, Jung Yoo Joon, and Jo Yong Geun have fully expired. After engaging in deep and lengthy conversations with each member, we have decided to respect the wishes of the members, who wish to pursue new dreams.”
D1CE Entertainment then extended their gratitude to their devoted fanbase for sticking with the boy band since its inception. Formed in 2019 by alumni of reality competition series like “Produce 101” and “MIXNINE,” D1CE made their debut that summer. Their final album, “You’re My Destiny,” was released in February 2021.

In 2017, members of Happy Face’s sub-label HF Music Company (Park Woo-dam, Woo Jin-young, and Jo Yong-Geun) appeared in the second season of the Mnet survival series Produce 101.
