BLACKPINK’s Jisoo
Kim Ji-soo is a South Korean singer and actor known by the stage name Jisoo (Korean: born January 3, 1995). She is a member of the YG Entertainment-created South Korean girl group Blackpink, which debuted in August 2016. She made her acting debut in 2015’s The Producers, where she appeared in a cameo role, and she had her first lead part in the JTBC series Snowdrop (2021–22).
On January 3, 1995, Kim Ji-soo was born in Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. She has a brother and sister that are older. She practiced Taekwondo and played basketball when she was little. She wanted to be a writer and painter. She loved the Korean boy band TVXQ. Jisoo attended the School of Performing Arts Seoul for her senior year of high school.
In the 11th grade, she joined the school’s theater club and participated in auditions to gain more experience in the entertainment business. Jisoo resided with her parents, siblings, and grandparents before her debut. Jisoo is a native Korean speaker who knows Chinese, Japanese, and English.
