South Korean singer and actress Choi Ye-Na (Korean: born September 29, 1999), better known by her stage name Yena. After placing fourth on Mnet’s reality girl group survival show Produce 48, she was a part of the temporary girl group Iz*One.
Now signed to Yuehua Entertainment, she performs as a solo artist and acts in films. On January 17, 2022, Yena released her debut EP, Smiley, marking her official entry into the music industry as a solo artist. On September 29, 1999, Choi entered the world in Gil-Dong, Gangdong, South Korea.

Choi Sung-min (an actor and singer) is her older brother. Lymphoma was a childhood disease for her. Before signing with Yuehua Entertainment, he was a trainee at Polaris Entertainment. In 2017, Choi hosted SBS’s Cooking Class.
Choi (together with Everglow’s Kim Si-hyeon and Wang Yiren) competed in the reality girl group survival show Produce 48 from June 15 to August 31, 2018, to represent Yuehua Entertainment. Ultimately, she came in at #4 and made her debut with Iz*One. Color*Iz, the band’s first EP, was released on October 29, 2018, with the song “La Vie en Rose” as the album’s first single.
Choi joined the Prison Life of Fools cast after her debut with Iz*One, appearing with Got7’s JB, Jang Do-Yeon, Jeong Hyeong-don, and others. Choi was included in the cast of the mystery variety show Girls High School Mystery Class on December 21, 2020. This is TVING’s first variety show with its original content.
