NMIXX
Nmixx, known initially as JYPn, is a South Korean girl group created by SQU4D, a division of JYP Entertainment. Nmixx is written in Korean, RR, MR, and all caps. The six individuals who comprise the group are Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin. On February 22, 2022, the band released its debut album, Ad Mare.
On December 9, 2022, Jinni left the septet, which had previously been together. The name Nmixx combines the letter “N,” which stands for “now,” “new,” “and next,” and the unknown “n,” and the word “mix,” which signifies mixing and diversity, altogether indicating “the best combination for a new age.”
After Itzy in 2019, JYP Entertainment revealed on July 9th, 2021, that a new girl group would debut in February 2022. Pre-orders for a limited edition of the group’s debut package, called Blind Package, which comprised the group’s debut album and album-related materials, were accepted from July 16 to July 25 by JYP Entertainment.
From August 6 to November 19, numerous dance videos and song covers revealed the members (in order: Jinni, Jiwoo, Kyujin, Sullyoon, Bae, Haewon, and Lily).
