Once more, breaking all records with their release, the monster rookie band NewJeans! NewJeans’ most recent single, “Ditto,” set a new astounding record for K-Pop acts by debuting at No. 96 on the “Hot 100” list, according to Billboard’s chart rankings for this week.
Only six months after making their debut in July 2022 with the smash album “New Jeans,” which boasts the title tracks “Attention” and “Hype Boy,” NewJeans has become the K-Pop idol group to reach the top of the charts and the quickest.
In addition, it made them the first and only 4th generation group to debut on the list, joining Wonder Girls, BTS, BLACKPINK, and TWICE as the fifth group to do so, demonstrating their widespread appeal.

Ditto
For their debut single album OMG, the South Korean girl group NewJeans recorded the song “Ditto.” On December 19, 2022, “Ditto” was made available as a pre-release track for the single album, published on January 2, 2023, by ADOR, a division of Hybe Corporation.
Five months had passed since the release of “Ditto,” the first extended play by New Jeans, as well as the three lead singles “Cookie,” “Attention,” and “Hype Boy,” all of which were well-received both critically and commercially.

The Billboard Hot 100 is the weekly song record chart used by the music business in the United States. It is issued by Billboard magazine. In the US, chart rankings are determined by physical and digital sales, radio airplay, and online streaming.
