The group MAMAMOO’s subunit MAMAMOO+ is returning. It was revealed on February 21 KST that MAMAMOO’s Sun and Moon Byul would make an unexpected return in March with MAMAMOO’s unit, MAMAMOO+.
With the release of their first single, “Better,” in August of last year, this will be MAMAMOO+’s first reappearance in about 7 months. The vibrant pictures of Solar and Moon Byul, MAMAMOO’s original unit, will be prominently featured in this eagerly awaited return.
With the goal of integrating a fresh idea through MAMAMOO+ with the current MAMAMOO image, Solar and Moon Byul will continue unit activities. MAMAMOO, meantime, recently finished the Asian leg of their first world tour, “MAMAMOO WORLD TOUR “MY CON.”

Mamamoo is a South Korean female group made up of Solar, Moon Byul, Whee In, and Hwa Sa. The group was founded by RBW (previously WA Entertainment) in 2014. On June 18, 2014, the group made its public debut with the song “Mr. Ambiguous.” Several critics ranked their debut as one of the top K-pop debuts of 2014.
They are known for their classic jazz, R&B, and vintage notions as well as their powerful vocal performances. The group name “Mamamoo” refers to a baby’s first chatter. Also, it conveys the idea of approaching naturally and naively, much like a baby.
