A song is referred to as having a Perfect All-Kill (PAK) when it has peaked at the top of the daily and real-time charts of all significant South Korean music streaming services, including Melon, Genie, Bugs, FLO, VIBE, and YouTube music, as well as the real-time and weekly charts from Instiz.

South Korea’s songs that achieve Perfect All Kill are regarded as massive hits. It is difficult for novice organizations to reach this goal. Here are the top five K-pop female groups who got their first Perfect All-Kill the quickest.

1. BLACKPINK (6 Days)

Globally, BLACKPINK, the “largest girl group in the world,” is the most well-known female K-pop act. The group made their debut on August 8, 2016, with the release of “Square One,” their first single album, which includes the two songs “Whistle” and “Boombayah.”

Six days after making their official debut, on August 14, ” Whistle” rapidly topped all significant charts, giving BLACKPINK their first Perfect All-kill of their career. BLACKPINK is the K-pop artist who achieved a Perfect All-kill with a debut song the quickest.

2. NewJeans (146 Days)

ADOR, a division of Hybe Corporation, created a new girl group called NewJeans. Shortly after making their debut, the girl trio became well-known. After four months, NewJeans made their first appearance since their August 1, 2022, debut with the pre-release single “Ditto.”

The release day for the song was December 19, 2022. After 146 days since their official debut, NewJeans received their first Perfect All-kill on December 26 with “Ditto,” which peaked at the top of all charts. New Jeans is now the K-pop group of the fourth generation to achieve this feat the quickest.

3. I.O.I (Five Months)

South Korean girl group I.O.I was created due to CJ E&M’s participation in the “Produce 101” reality competition on Mnet. With the publication of their debut album, “Chrysalis,” on May 4, 2016, they made their debut and continued performing till 2017.

At the end of January 2017, the girl group formally split up. I.O.I’s extended play album, “Miss Me?” was released on October 17, 2016. I.O.I’s very first music show trophy as a group and their first Perfect All-kill of their career came from the title track of the album “Very Very Very.” On October 19, five months after their debut, I.O.I got certified Perfect All-kill.

4. TWICE (Six Months)

TWICE is a well-known third-generation K-pop girl group created through the JYP Entertainment program “Sixteen.” On October 20, 2015, the nine-piece group made their public debut with the publication of “The Story Begins,” their first extended play album.

The second extended play album by TWICE, known as the “Nation’s Girl Group,” titled “Page Two,” was released on April 25, 2016. On April 27, 2016, barely six months after their debut, TWICE’s lead single from the album, “Cheer Up,” became their first domestic chart-topper and brought them their first Perfect All-kill.

5. IVE (9 Months)

Starship Entertainment founded and oversaw the South Korean rookie female group known as IVE. They made their debut after releasing their first single album, “Eleven,” on December 1, 2021. IVE made their second reappearance on August 22 and released their third single album, “After Like.”

It was among IVE’s most effective comebacks. “After Like,” the album’s lead single, was the number-one song on every chart. On September 13, “After Like” received a Perfect All-kill certification. To do this, it took them nine months.

For K-pop artists, it is one of the most difficult milestones to attain. With 21 tracks, IU holds the record for the most songs to accomplish the accomplishment. With 610 hours, BTS’s “Dynamite” holds the record for the most hourly PAKs, and BIGBANG is the top idol group with the most songs to earn the coveted PAK, with six songs.
