The most recent World Artist Chart from IFPI has three K-pop performers! The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), a nonprofit organization that represents the world’s music recording business, released its annual rankings of the year’s top international musicians on February 22 local time.
This graph evaluates an artist’s whole history of work rather than simply their recent releases and analyses global consumption across all formats. Three Korean artists are represented on the list this year, with BTS placing second.

Being the first Asian act to get the IFPI World Recording Artist of the Year Award in 2021, BTS created history. After taking first place for the second year in a row in 2017, the ensemble established a new record. With their most recent rating, BTS enters the top 10 of the IFPI World Artist Chart for the fifth time and the top two for the fourth time.
SEVENTEEN, who has now made it into the top 10 for two years running, is in sixth place. With the release of their fourth studio album “Face the Sun,” their first feature film, third Japanese EP, and third global tour, SEVENTEEN had a particularly busy year internationally.
At No. 7, Stray Kids entered the top 10 of the IFPI World Artist Chart for the first time. The group gained international acclaim in 2022 with the release of a slew of successful EPs that topped charts all over the world.
